Prof. Col. Dr. Md. Nasir Uddin (Mahmud) is a highly accomplished General, Colorectal, and Laparoscopic Surgeon in Dhaka, recognized for his expertise in advanced surgical and oncological procedures. His academic qualifications include MBBS, FCPS (Surgery) — in which he achieved Gold Medal distinction — along with FACS (USA) and FMAS (India).

He has completed Post Fellowship Training in Surgical Oncology from the National Institute of Cancer Research & Hospital (NICRH) and received Advanced Training in Breast Surgery from BSOS, further strengthening his specialization in cancer and minimally invasive surgery.

Currently, he serves as a Professor of Surgery & Surgical Oncology at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Dhaka, where he is actively involved in advanced surgical care, oncology practice, and medical training.

Prof. Col. Dr. Nasir Uddin specializes in the surgical management of a wide range of conditions, including breast cancer, benign breast tumors, colorectal cancer, piles, fistula, hernia, gallstones, appendicitis, thyroid disorders, and various laparoscopic (minimally invasive) abdominal surgeries.
