Prof. Dr. Shahnoor Islam is a highly qualified Pediatric Oncosurgeon (Child Cancer Surgeon) and Pediatric Surgeon with extensive experience in the surgical treatment of childhood cancers and complex pediatric surgical conditions. Her academic credentials include MBBS, MS (Pediatric Surgery), and FACS (USA), reflecting advanced surgical training and international professional recognition.

She serves as the Professor and Head of the Department of Pediatric Surgery at Sir Salimullah Medical College & Mitford Hospital, where she is actively involved in specialized pediatric surgical care, academic teaching, and clinical leadership.
