Prof. Dr. Mamun Al Mahtab Shwapnil is a renowned Hepatologist and Gastroenterologist in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with extensive expertise in liver and digestive diseases.

He holds the qualifications MBBS, MSc (Gastroenterology) from London, and MD (Hepatology). In addition, he has earned several prestigious international fellowships, including FICP (India), FRCP (Ireland), FRCP (London), FBAS, and a PhD from the University of Malaya, reflecting his global recognition and academic achievements in hepatology.

Prof. Dr. Shwapnil has served as the Chairman of the Department of Hepatology at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital and currently works as the Head of the Interventional Hepatology Division at the same institution. He is widely known for his expertise in advanced liver disease management and interventional hepatology.
