Dr. S.K. Farid Ahmed is a highly experienced Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon with over 26 years of clinical practice in the United Kingdom. He completed his MBBS from Mymensingh Medical College (1992) before moving to the UK for advanced postgraduate training in surgery.
He obtained his prestigious FRCS (Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow) in 2000 and has since built an extensive career across multiple hospitals in Edinburgh, Borders, Yorkshire, and Sunderland, gaining broad surgical experience.
Currently, Dr. Ahmed is working as an Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon at Buckinghamshire Hospitals NHS Trust (UK), where he is involved in advanced breast cancer care and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Ahmed specializes in a wide range of oncoplastic and reconstructive breast procedures, including:
Skin-sparing mastectomy
Breast reconstruction using implants and acellular dermal matrix
Latissimus dorsi (LD) flap reconstruction (with or without implants)
