Dr. Saroar Alam (Nahid)

Dr. Saroar Alam (Nahid) is an Eye Specialist and Phaco Surgeon in Dhaka. He holds an MBBS degree along with a DO (BSMMU) qualification in Ophthalmology. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at President Abdul Hamid Medical College & Hospital.

Dr. Saroar Alam (Nahid) has extensive clinical experience in ophthalmology, with more than 8 years of practice in diagnosing and managing a wide range of eye conditions. Over the past 4 years, he has successfully performed more than 15,000 cataract surgeries using both Small Incision Cataract Surgery (SICS) and Phacoemulsification techniques, demonstrating strong expertise in modern cataract management.

His clinical interests include Refractive Cataract Surgery, including Multifocal and Toric Intraocular Lens (IOL) implantation, as well as the management of complicated cataract cases and retinal diseases. He is experienced in providing comprehensive eye care, including evaluation, surgical treatment, and post-operative management.
