Dr. Muhammad Shamsul Arefin is a highly accomplished Interventional Pain Medicine Specialist based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He holds the qualifications MBBS, BCS (Health), DA, and MD (BSMMU), along with advanced international training and fellowships in pain management.

His credentials include Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management (Aesculap Academy, Germany & Daradia, India) and advanced training in Musculoskeletal (MSK) Ultrasound (India). He is also a Member of IASP, BSSP, and EULAR (Rheumatology), and serves as an Editorial Board Member of the Bangladesh Journal of Pain, reflecting his strong academic and professional involvement.

Dr. Arefin holds key leadership roles in national pain medicine organizations, including:
