Dr. Md. Shahedul Islam is a highly qualified Psychiatry Specialist with extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health and behavioral disorders. His qualifications include MBBS, BCS (Health), FRCP (Glasgow, UK), FCPS (Psychiatry), and MCPS (Psychiatry).

He is experienced in managing various psychiatric and psychological conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, sleep disorders, substance abuse, drug addiction, and sexual health–related psychological concerns. His treatment approach focuses on comprehensive mental health care and long-term patient wellbeing.

Dr. Islam currently serves as the Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Psychiatry at Cumilla Medical College & Hospital, where he is actively involved in clinical practice, academic teaching, and advanced psychiatric care.

In addition to his institutional responsibilities, he provides regular consultations at Medinova Medical Services, Malibagh (Gemcon Business Tower, 255 New Circular Road, Dhaka).
