Dr. Md. Abirul Islam is a highly experienced Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist based in Chattogram, Bangladesh. He holds the qualifications MBBS (CMC), BCS, MPH, and FCPS (Physical Medicine). He has also received advanced international training, including EULAR Certification in Rheumatology (Switzerland) and EULAR-certified Musculoskeletal (MSK) Ultrasonography, reflecting his expertise in pain management and musculoskeletal medicine.

Dr. Islam currently serves as a Consultant in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Chittagong Medical College & Hospital (formerly BMU PG Hospital, Shahbag, Dhaka). He specializes in the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

His clinical expertise includes the treatment and management of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, back pain, neck pain, stroke-related paralysis, sports injuries, muscle and nerve pain, gout, spondylosis, and other chronic pain disorders.
