He completed his MBBS from Dhaka Medical College and later achieved FCPS (Surgery), along with international credentials including FACS (USA) and FMAS (India), reflecting advanced expertise in minimally invasive and gastrointestinal surgery.

He is a Life Member of the Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons of Asia (ELSA) and the Society of Surgeons of Bangladesh (SOSB), and an International Member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), demonstrating active involvement in global surgical practice and professional development.
