Dr. Farhana Yesmin is a highly skilled Breast, Colorectal, Laparoscopic, and General Surgeon dedicated to providing advanced surgical care with a patient-centered approach. She holds MBBS, BCS (Health), FCPS (Surgery), and MS (Colorectal Surgery) qualifications, reflecting her extensive training and expertise in general and colorectal surgery. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the National Institute of Cancer Research & Hospital (NICRH), Mohakhali, Dhaka, she is actively involved in the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of a wide range of breast, colorectal, and gastrointestinal diseases.

Dr. Yasmin specializes in the treatment of breast pain, breast lumps, breast abscess, breast tumors, breast cancer, colorectal diseases, piles (hemorrhoids), anal fissures, fistula-in-ano, rectal bleeding, colorectal cancer, gallbladder diseases, hernia, appendicitis, and other general surgical conditions. She is experienced in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, including laparoscopic gallbladder surgery, laparoscopic hernia repair, laparoscopic appendicectomy, as well as diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, colon and rectal surgery, ODS (Obstructed Defecation Syndrome) treatment, and STARR surgery.
