Dr. Farhana Ahmed is a highly qualified Clinical & Interventional Cardiologist based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She has extensive expertise in managing a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including hypertension, heart failure, coronary artery disease, rheumatic heart disease, congenital heart disorders, arrhythmias, and chest pain.
She completed her MBBS, followed by FCPS in Medicine and Cardiology, and holds FSCAI (USA). In addition, she has received advanced training in interventional cardiology from Japan, Korea, and India, strengthening her proficiency in modern cardiac procedures and interventions.
Dr. Ahmed is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Cardiology at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases & Hospital (NICVD), where she is actively engaged in both academic teaching and advanced cardiac care.
She provides specialized consultation and interventional cardiac services at Ibn Sina Specialized Hospital, Dhanmondi, Dhaka.
