Prof. Dr. Subash Kanti Dey

Prof. Dr. Subash Kanti Dey is a senior Neurologist and Interventional Neurology Specialist based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He holds the qualifications MBBS and MD (Neurology) and has completed a Fellowship in Interventional Neurology & Stroke (India) along with special training in ASD from South Korea.

Dr. Dey previously served as the Professor and Head of the Stroke & Interventional Neurology Division at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). He is widely recognized as a pioneer of neuro-interventional care in Bangladesh, with extensive experience in advanced neurological procedures.

Throughout his career, he has performed thousands of complex neuro-interventional procedures, including cerebral angiograms, aneurysm coilings, AVM embolizations, carotid angioplasty, and stenting procedures. His clinical expertise covers a broad range of neurological conditions such as brain disorders, nerve diseases, spinal problems, stroke, migraine, and chronic headache disorders.

Dr. Dey currently provides consultations as a Senior Consultant in Neuro-medicine, Stroke & Interventional Neurology at Asgar Ali Hospital, Dhaka.
