About Prof. Dr. Quazi Deen Mohammad

Prof. Dr. Quazi Deen Mohammad is a renowned Neurology Specialist in Dhaka, highly experienced in diagnosing and treating disorders of the brain and nervous system. His areas of expertise include stroke, epilepsy, dementia, neuropathy, Parkinson’s disease, migraine, and other neurological conditions.

He completed his MBBS from Dhaka Medical College in 1978. Later, he earned FCPS in Medicine in 1983 and obtained his MD in Neurology from the Institute of Postgraduate Medicine & Research (IPGMR) in 1994. To further enhance his expertise, he completed an advanced fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology from University Hospital Madison, USA.

Prof. Dr. Quazi Deen Mohammad has made significant contributions to medical education and neurological healthcare in Bangladesh. He served as Professor of Neurology and Principal at Dhaka Medical College. He also played a pioneering role as the Founding Director of the National Institute of Neurosciences & Hospital (NINS), Dhaka, where he helped establish and develop modern neurology services in the country.

He currently provides specialized neurological consultations at SPRC & Neurology Hospital, New Eskaton, Dhaka, where patients visit him for expert care and management of complex neurological disorders.
