Prof. Dr. ABM Abdullah

Professor Dr. ABM Abdullah is a renowned Medicine Specialist in Bangladesh, widely respected for his expertise in diagnosing and managing a broad range of complex medical conditions. His areas of specialization include diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, liver diseases, gastric ulcers, heart diseases, infectious diseases, and other chronic and internal medicine–related health problems.

He completed his MBBS from Dhaka Medical College and later earned the prestigious MRCP (UK) and FRCP (Edinburgh) qualifications, reflecting his advanced training and international recognition in the field of medicine.

Professor Dr. Abdullah previously served as the Professor and Dean of the Department of Medicine at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (formerly PG Hospital), one of the leading medical institutions in Bangladesh. Throughout his career, he has made significant contributions to medical education, research, and patient care.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the healthcare sector, he has received numerous national honors, including the prestigious Ekushey Padak. In 2019, he was appointed as the personal physician to the Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina.

He is also the author of several widely used medical textbooks, which are popular among medical students in Bangladesh and internationally.
