Dr. Subir Chandra Das

Dr. Subir is an experienced Medicine Specialist in Bangladesh with a strong background in internal medicine, neurology training, and acute medical care. He has developed extensive clinical expertise through government service, hospital practice, and advanced professional training.

Dr. Subir completed his SSC in 2000 from Kishoreganj and HSC in 2002 from Notre Dame College, Dhaka. He later earned his MBBS degree from Cumilla Medical College in 2008. In 2014, he joined government service through the 33rd BCS (Health).

Early in his government career, he was posted at Khaliajuri Upazila Health Complex in Netrokona, one of the most remote upazilas in the Dhaka division. He later worked at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital and Dhaka Medical College Hospital, gaining valuable experience in clinical medicine.

He achieved FCPS in Medicine from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) in 2018. Currently, Dr. Subir serves as a Junior Consultant in Medicine at the National Institute of Neurosciences & Hospital (NINS) while also pursuing fellowship training in Neurology.

In addition to his formal qualifications, he has completed several specialized certificate courses, including:

• CCD (Certificate Course in Diabetology) from BIRDEM

• CCCD (Certificate Course in Cardiology) from National Heart Foundation Hospital

• BCCPM (Basic Certificate Course in Palliative Medicine) from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU)

Dr. Subir was also a Clinical Fellow at icddr,b Dhaka Hospital for one year and worked at Uttara Adhunik Medical College for three years before joining government service. He has also completed in-service training in Critical Care from both government and private hospitals.

He has contributed to medical research with several scientific publications in national and international journals. His special clinical interests include stroke medicine, neurology-related conditions, and acute medical care.
