Dr. Shamim Ara Begum Hashy – Hematologist

Dr. Shamim Ara Begum Hashy is a highly experienced Hematologist with extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of blood disorders and hematologic cancers. She completed her MBBS from Chittagong Medical College, followed by an M.Phil in Clinical Pathology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) and FCPS in Hematology from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS).

With more than 15 years of clinical experience, Dr. Hashy specializes in treating a wide range of hematological conditions, including anemia, thalassemia, hemophilia, thrombocytopenia, and various coagulation disorders. She is also skilled in managing hematologic malignancies such as leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma.

In addition, she has advanced training in bone marrow transplantation, having completed a one-year fellowship in Clinical Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation at CMC Vellore, Chennai, further strengthening her expertise in complex blood disease management.
