Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Astefchar Hussain is a highly experienced Oncologist (Cancer Specialist) based in Chattogram, Bangladesh, with over 20 years of dedicated service in cancer care. He is widely recognized for his clinical expertise, compassionate approach, and commitment to improving patient outcomes through advanced treatment and research.

He holds the qualifications MBBS (CMC), BCS (Health), MPhil (Oncology), and FCPS (Radiotherapy). In addition, he has received advanced training in cancer treatment from Thailand and Indonesia, further strengthening his expertise in modern oncology practices.

Dr. Hussain previously served as the Head of the Cancer Department at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College & Hospital. He is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiotherapy at Chittagong Medical College & Hospital, where he leads a team focused on delivering high-quality cancer care.
