Dr. Mohammad Zakir Hossain Bhuiyan is an eminent Thoracic, Oesophageal, and VATS Surgeon with 28 years of clinical experience. His extensive qualifications include MBBS (DMC), MCPS, FCPS (Surgery), MS (Thoracic Surgery), FICS, and FACS (USA). He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the International College of Surgeons, and has completed specialized international training in VATS, UVATS, and RATS at Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital, China.

He currently serves as the Professor and Head of the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Chittagong Medical College & Hospital.
