Dr. Miah is a highly accomplished Medicine Specialist and Gastroenterologist with extensive clinical and academic experience in Bangladesh.
He completed his MBBS from Dhaka Medical College in 2008, one of the country’s most prestigious medical institutions. He later achieved MCPS and FCPS (Medicine) from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) in January and July 2017, respectively. In 2020, he earned his MD in Gastroenterology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Dhaka.
Dr. Miah was honored with the Gold Medal Award from BCPS, presented by the Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh, in recognition of his outstanding performance in the FCPS (Medicine) examination.
Professionally, he has served as an Assistant Professor of Gastroenterology at Dhaka Medical College Hospital for four years, gaining significant experience in managing both general medicine and gastrointestinal (GI) patients. He has strong expertise in upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy, having performed over 1,000 endoscopic procedures. His special clinical interest includes gastrointestinal malignancies, particularly primary GI lymphoma.
Currently, Dr. Miah is working as a Consultant in Medicine at Rangpur Medical College Hospital, where he is also involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.

In addition to his clinical and academic roles, Dr. Miah actively contributes to public health awareness by writing in national daily newspapers. He has five research publications and serves as a peer reviewer for Annals of Internal Medicine Clinical Cases (ACP).
