Dr. Md. Shuktarul Islam (Tamim)

Dr. Md. Shuktarul Islam is a Neurologist currently serving at the National Institute of Neurosciences & Hospital (NINS), Agargaon, Dhaka. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders related to the brain, nerves, and neuromuscular system.

Educational Background

Dr. Islam completed his SSC in 2000 from DGT High School, Daulatpur, Kushtia, and his HSC in 2002 from Kushtia Government College, Kushtia. He earned his MBBS degree from Faridpur Medical College, Faridpur, in 2008.

Professional Career

He joined government service in 2010 and initially served at Agailjhara Upazila Health Complex (UHC), Barishal. Later, he worked at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), Dhaka, gaining valuable clinical experience.

In 2021, he completed his MD in Neurology from Sir Salimullah Medical College under Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). He currently works as a Neurologist at the National Institute of Neurosciences & Hospital, Dhaka.
