Dr. Md. Shariful Islam Johnny is a highly experienced Radiation Oncologist with 19 years of clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of various types of cancer using advanced radiotherapy techniques. He holds MBBS and FCPS (Radiotherapy) qualifications and has received extensive international training in modern radiation oncology, including Special Training on Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) at Tata Memorial Hospital, India; SBRT and Stereotactic Radiotherapy (SRT) training in Istanbul, Turkey; and Basic Radiotherapy Training on 3DCRT, IMRT, and VMAT in India, Thailand, and Singapore. These specialized trainings reflect his expertise in delivering precise, evidence-based radiation treatment for a wide range of cancers.
Currently serving as a Consultant in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the National Institute of Cancer Research and Hospital (Mohakhali Cancer Hospital), Dhaka, Dr. Shariful Islam Johnny is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered cancer care. His clinical expertise includes the planning and delivery of advanced radiotherapy for breast cancer, lung cancer, head and neck cancer, gastrointestinal cancers, gynecological cancers, prostate cancer, brain tumors, and other malignancies using state-of-the-art radiation techniques. He is a Life Member of the Bangladesh Society of Radiation Oncology (BSRO) and a member of the Bangladesh Cancer Society (BCS), reflecting his active involvement in advancing cancer treatment and research in Bangladesh.
