Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam

Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam is a highly experienced dental specialist based in Sylhet. He holds BDS, BCS (Health), DDS (BSMMU), FRSH (London), and FICD (USA), along with advanced training in Dental Implantology from Japan.

He is currently serving as an Associate Professor and Unit Head of the Dental Unit, as well as the Head of the Department of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College & Hospital, where he is actively involved in both academic leadership and specialized clinical care.

Dr. Islam has expertise in a wide range of dental treatments, including fixed orthodontics (braces), root canal treatment, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, and general dental care. He is skilled in managing conditions such as tooth decay, misaligned teeth, gum disease, and dental trauma.
