Dr. Lutful Aziz

Dr. Lutful Aziz is a highly accomplished Anesthesiologist and Pain Medicine Specialist with extensive experience in clinical practice, research, and medical education in Bangladesh.

He graduated from Dhaka Medical College in January 1985 and later pursued a PhD in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine from Okayama, Japan, under a Government of Japan scholarship, which he completed in 1995. After returning to Bangladesh, he earned his FCPS in Anaesthesia from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1997.

Before joining Evercare Hospital, Dhaka as a Consultant, Dr. Aziz served as an Associate Professor at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). He also held the role of Academic Coordinator of Postgraduate Studies in the Department of Anaesthesia, Analgesia, and Intensive Care Medicine, contributing significantly to medical training and education.

Throughout his career, Dr. Aziz has actively participated in international medical communities. He has attended numerous global congresses in Anaesthesia, ICU, and Pain Medicine, delivered over 75 lectures as an invited speaker, and published more than 45 research articles in national and international journals. He is also a member of the editorial boards of four medical journals.

Dr. Aziz is a Founder Member and current President of the Bangladesh Society for Study of Pain, highlighting his leadership in advancing pain management practices in the country.
