Dr. Arun Kumar Sarker

Dr. Arun Kumar Sarker is a highly skilled orthopedics, trauma, and Ilizarov surgery specialist in Dhaka. He completed his MBBS (Dhaka), BCS (Health), and MS (Orthopedics), and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS, USA). He has also undergone advanced training at the Russian Ilizarov Scientific Centre for Restorative Traumatology & Orthopaedics (RICS, RTO) and completed an Advanced Trauma Course from Tulane University, USA. Dr. Arun specializes in treating bone fractures, joint dislocations, complex trauma, arthritis, osteoarthritis, limb length discrepancies, non-healing fractures, bone infections, and congenital orthopedic deformities. He is especially experienced in the Ilizarov technique for bone lengthening, deformity correction, and complex limb salvage procedures. Dr. Sarker currently serves as an Assistant Professor (Orthopedics/Ilizarov) at the National Institute of Traumatology & Orthopedic Rehabilitation (NITOR). He provides consultations at Medinova Medical Services, Mirpur, situated at Plot # 29-30, Block # Kha, Road # 1, Section # 6, Mirpur 10, Dhaka, with visiting hours from 6.30pm to 8.30pm (Sun, Tue & Thu).
